BLUETOOTH HEAD SETS

Due to the new regulations going into effect on January 3rd of 2012 where commercial drivers are required to go hands free on their cellphones and no texting allowed, I decided to try a more comfortable bluetooth unit. I have been using a Motorola HX-1 bone conduction model for a year or so, and found that it would get annoying after about five hours and I'd have to take it out. That's not really an option now, to use the phone I have to be hands free for the whole day. This new version of the B250 adds A2DP, which I wanted, so I could hear when I received a text or email, not that I could whip out the phone and text back, but so that at the next stop I didn't have to whip out the phone to check and see if I got a message, I would already know if there was a new message or not from the phone sending me an alert. I purchased this item for my dad because of the new law regarding truck drivers talking on cell phones while driving. He was torn on purchasing this model, or purchasing a smaller more fashionable model. This was a GREAT purchase. He is not a "techy" person at all, and it was so easy, he set up the headset on his new phone with no help at all.

After using the unit for about 3 weeks now:
He can hear people better than before when just talking on the phone itself. When others talk to him, they all comment on how clear he sounds. "It sounds like you're in the room with me" is the most popular comment. There is NO truck noise/CB noise/wind noise when windows are down. None! he loves the headset, and already has friends who plan on ordering the same model. He said that the headset is more comfortable than he expected. He is able to wear it for long periods of time...which he didn't plan on doing before he ordered.

Bought this to replace my jawbone which i didnt use very much because the volume was too low for me, even on the highest setting. Only used it for a coule hours so far but its plenty loud at half volume, plays music and sound from videos if you want to do that. Like someone else mentioned the product details dont mention power cords, it came with wall plug and 12v car plug and extra set of foam covers. Its seems to be be pretty solidly built, only time will tell.Cant give it 5 stars till ive used it for a while.
